Morocco secured the title due to possessing 8 golds, 11 silvers and 5 bronzes, while the runner up position for athletics is occupied by Turkey by gains of 7 golds, 9 silvers and 8 bronzes. Third position, on the other hand, belongs to Iran, managing to gather 6 golds, 3 silvers and 1 bronze in the international multi-event sporting.
Fourth position in athletics is taken by Saudi Arabia for gathering 6 golds, 1 silver and a bronze, followed by the host country, Indonesia, after securing 2 golds, 3 silvers and 2 bronzes.
Moroccan gold were collected, among others, from 4×400 meters female relay race, and 400 meters female run. Indonesian’s gold was presented by Dedeh Erawati on 100 meters hurdle race and from the triple-jumper Eki Febri.
